What's going to happen this season in college football? Nobody knows.

The Ohio State Buckeyes could totally flame out after losing so many key contributors and miss the playoffs.

Texas' Arch Manning could be a bust who can't get the Longhorns anywhere this year.

Carson Beck might lead Miami to the promised land.

Bill Belichick could be the promised one for UNC, getting them to the playoffs.

It's all up in the air right now.

There's no way to predict the season, but there is a way to simulate it thanks to EA Sports College Football 26.

The game will undoubtedly not simulate an accurate representation, but Yahoo! Sports did it anyway .

Of course, the simulation results will change every time, so you could boot up your game and get a totally different result.

In the second-ever 12-team CFP, the SEC had five clubs: Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Auburn.

Notably, Georgia is not present.

In the Big Ten, Oregon, USC, and Penn State made it.

Clemson and Miami represented the ACC, while Texas Tech was the lone Big 12 team.

Boise State made it out of the Mountain West.

Other notable omissions include Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Texas.

Oregon, the number one seed, defeated number six Ole Miss in the National Championship.

Boise State, the 12 seed, made an improbable run to the semifinal before falling to Oregon.

Clemson was the number two seed and fell to Ole Miss before getting a possible one-two matchup in the title game.

Oregon won 38-24.

As far as the Heisman race goes, it wasn't a quarterback award this time.

Instead, Jeremiah Smith became the first wide receiver to win it since Devonta Smith in 2020.

Smith also earned the Maxwell, Walter Camp and Fred Biletnikoff awards after posting 112 catches for 1,501 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Clemson QB Cade Klubnik recorded 39 TDs and 4,457 yards and won the Johnny Unitas and Davey O'Brien awards.

His performance and Clemson's season helped Dabo Swinney win the Bear Bryant award.

Miami defensive lineman Rueben Bain Jr.

had 19 sacks and 32 tackles for loss to win the Bronco Nagurski, Chuck Bednarik, and Lombardi awards.

As for Arch Manning, he finished with 3,738 yards, 32 TDs, 7 INTs and a 69% completion percentage before he presumably headed off to the NFL.

Bill Belichick's first UNC season was a relative success, as the Tar Heels went 8-5 and won a bowl game..
