Clemson baseball's MLB draft history: How many Tigers have been selected in Round 1?

CLEMSON Clemson baseball could have its 14th player taken in the first round of the MLB Draft.The 2025 MLB Draft, with rounds 1-3 taking place July 13 (6 p.m.
ET, ESPN) and rounds 4-20 on July 14 (11:30 a.m.
ET, MLB.com), has 27 first-round selections.
Clemson's top prospect, Cam Cannarella, could be taken with any of those picks.
He is ranked No.
36 in MLB.com's prospect rankings, and ESPN ranks him No.
27.Cannarella was among four Clemson players, transfers and commits (Ryan Wideman, Dax Kilby, Nick Frusco), to participate in the MLB draft combine in mid-June.
Cannarella has completed his college eligibility and almost certainly will sign with an MLB team.
If Wideman, Kilby and Frusco are selected and are offered a signing bonus they find valuable enough, they could opt for professional baseball instead of playing for Clemson in 2026.The Tigers had five players and one commit taken in last year's draft.
