Missouri basketball’s Tamar Bates, Caleb Grill stats from Saturday games in NBA Summer League

Recent Missouri basketball grads Tamar Bates and Caleb Grill both saw NBA Summer League action Saturday, each playing in their second game for their new teams in the preseason event.Grill scored eight points as his Chicago Bulls lost 109-92 to the Sacramento Kings in an early game Saturday in Las Vegas.Later in the day, Bates had a rough shooting night from behind the arc but ended the game with 13 points in a 94-83 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.Grill, as expected, again was active from 3-point range, taking six of his seven shots from the field from deep.

He finished the day 2-of-6 from behind the arc, his second straight game with that mark.The sharpshooter out of Wichita, Kansas, also had three rebounds and tied a game-high with three steals over 20 minutes on the floor.Here at NBA Summer League in Vegas....getting to see @caleb_grill0 start his pro career.
