NASCAR superstar Denny Hamlin has hit out at SiriusXM NASCAR Radio for seemingly cutting his attorney Jeffrey Kessler's remarks after news of his 23XI Racing team and Front Row Motorsports decided to take on sue the sport's governing body and CEO Jim France.

The two NASCAR teams have taken action after refusing to accept new charter agreements , which could put all of their charters in jeopardy.

Kessler, an experienced lawyer in contesting antitrust lawsuits, having used his expertise in the NFL, NBA, and NCAA, accused NASCAR and its CEO of being in charge of an "illegal monopoly" with litigation pending.

Hamlin has now hit out at SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, claiming they censored his attorneys remarks and showed bias.

While censorship is a big topic in todays media world, Channel 90 might be the poster child, Hamlin wrote.

An interview didnt go the way they hoped after our attorney continued to state fact after fact even tho they tried their best to refute, they have since edited/deleted that interview off of their channels because the narrative doesnt fit their beliefs.

If that doesnt convince you of the bias then nothing will.

World famous attorney makes his feelings clear on Michael Jordan's case vs NASCAR Michael Jordan's NASCAR lawsuit could change sport as 23XI hires top lawyer Kessler took part in a press conference earlier this week, and said: "NASCAR is the poster child for being an illegal monopoly.

It is, as all your fans know, the only premier stock car racing circuit in the country, maybe in the world and its got that position not by being the best or by investing money or by having the best thing out there that no one compete with.

"No, it got there by acquiring its competitors tied up the racetracks so no one else could compete with it.

Going to all the teams who are independent contractors and saying you cant go race at anybody elses races and imposing restrictions on the cars, that the teams cant even take their NextGen car and put it in another race.

Hamlin has been critical of NASCAR in the past, previously suggesting that the sport should accept less TV money to ensure better race start times for fans and competitors.

"Everyone knows that I have always been a fierce competitor, and that will to win is what drives me and the entire 23XI team each and every week out on the track," he said.

"I love the sport of racing and the passion of our fans, but the way NASCAR is run today is unfair to teams, drivers, sponsors, and fans.

Todays action shows Im willing to fight for a competitive market where everyone wins.

The rest of the teams accepted the new charter agreement - but attorney Kessler has claimed it's because they can't stand up to the "monopoly," while 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports are taking a stand.

"Most of the teams, who have their livelihood invested in this, could not stand up to that monopolistic pressure, and they concluded that they were just going to have to do the deal," Kessler said.

"These two teams were not going to stand for it.

There comes a time in most professional sports, and college sports as well if youre familiar with that situation, where a transformative moment comes where the sports either have to willingly restructure and adopt to change and make a fair competitive system, or the courts are going to force them to do so.

We are at that moment now for stock car racing in the United States..
