Sixers sign Hunter Sallis to two-way deal, Izan Almansa and Igor Milicic as Exhibit 10s

The 76ers have added five players after the NBA Draft, including a local product and two international prospects.Per reports, the 76ers signed Wake Forest guard Hunter Sallis to a two-way contract.

Izan Almansa and Igor Milicic signed Exhibit 10 deals, while USC forward Saint Thomas and VCU wing/Cheltenham grad Jack Clark were invited to play in the Summer League.Sallis is a 6-5,179-pound combo guard who spent two seasons at Gonzaga and two at Wake Forest.

A first-team All-ACC performer, he averaged 18.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game over two seasons at Wake.

Hes not a particularly good passer, at 2.7 assists per game at Wake and 142 turnovers to 175 total assists.

The Omaha native turned 22 in March.Milicic is a 6-9, 225-pound forward.

He ended a peripatetic college career at the University of Tennessee, after starting at Virginia and spending two seasons at Charlotte.He averaged 12.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in his second season with the 49ers.

As a senior, he started all 37 games in Knoxville, averaging 9.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and a career-best 1.9 assists per game.

He shot 31.4% from 3-point range, down from 37.6% with Charlotte.

He scored just 19 points in four NCAA Tournament games for the Vols.Milicic was born in Croatia but holds dual Polish citizenship.

His father, Igor Sr., played for Croatia and has coached Poland, for which his son has played internationally.Almansa is a longer-term project.

The native of Murcia, Spain, is 20 and stands 6-10 and 220 pounds.

He came up through the Real Madrid youth system, reaching the B team in 2021 at age 16.

He joined Overtime Elite for two years before a season with G League Ignite, averaging 11.7 points and 7.4 rebounds as a traditional big.

He joined Australian club Perth as part of the NBLs Next Stars program, where he averaged 6.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 33 games.Exhibit 10 deals are one-year contracts for the minimum salary with optional bonuses as enticements to remain in the G League.Clark and Thomas will take part in the Summer League.

Clark has had a fascinating journey, with seven college seasons at four places.

The Cheltenham grad is 25 years old, nine months older than potential teammate Tyrese Maxey.He played three years at La Salle, plus a medical redshirt in 2019-20.

He spent the 2022-23 season at NC State, then went to Clemson, then finished at VCU for 147 games and 1,356 points.

The 6-10 forward averaged 12.0 points and 5.8 rebounds in his last season at La Salle, then 9.7 points and 6.9 rebounds in 35 starts for VCU this year.Thomas, who is neither the Caribbean island nor the Minnesota university, was a high school teammate of Sallis at Milard North in Omaha.

The 6-7 wing started his career at Loyola Chicago for a year and a half.

He joined Northern Colorado in 2023 and was the Big Sky Newcomer of the year, averaging 19.7 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game.

He spent his senior season at USC, starting all 35 games for the Trojans at 9.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game.Among locals, the two-way deal for Villanovas Eric Dixon with the Los Angeles Lakers is the most pertinent.

His former Villanova teammate TJ Bamba, who transferred last season to Oregon, has been invited by the Brooklyn Nets to the Summer League.
