With the NBA draft right around the corner, now is the time to look at some past drafts and see what the Philadelphia 76ers have done in their history.

The Sixers have selected some big-time players in the past who have become an important part of the fabric of the franchise's history.This edition continues to focus on the 2018 draft when Philadelphia selected Landry Shamet with the No.

26 overall pick.

The Sixers were looking to continue growing the roster around their star duo of Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, at the time, and Shamet made an impact right away.As a rookie, Shamet was terrific with his movement off the ball and he shot 40.4% from deep in 54 games for Philadelphia, but he was sent to the Los Angeles Clippers at the deadline of his rookie season in the big Tobias Harris trade.Since then, Shamet has bounced around.

He has played for the Sixers, Clippers, Brooklyn Nets, Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, and is now with the New York Knicks.
