TCU is located just more than a half-hour from Argyle, which is between Fort Worth and Denton.

First off, theres nothing like Fort Worth, Texas; Ive got to love home, Bach said following his announcement.

Also, just the way they use their tight ends and the opportunities that are presented for me, it looks really good.

Bach, considered a three-star recruit, was also reportedly the only tight end TCU targeted and offered in the Class of 2026.

It said that Im a priority and thats where I want to be, Bach said.

I want to be somewhere where they actually want me and Im really excited, Ive got a great relationship with Coach (Mitchell) Kirsch (TCUs tight ends coach) and (TCU head) Coach (Sonny) Dykes and Im really fired up.

For Argyle last season, Bach (6-foot-5, 232 pounds) caught 26 passes - second-most on the squad - for 247 yards and scored three TDs.

When asked what TCU fans are looking forward to seeing him do, Bach noted he can perform a number of activities.

I can do it all, he said.

I can catch, I can run, I can block, so Im coming to play football.

Before going down to Fort Worth, Bach is now getting ready for his senior season at Argyle.

Last season, the Eagles finished 13-2 and reached the UIL 5A Division II state semifinals before falling to South Oak Cliff .

Were looking dominant; were returning a ton of starters, weve got some really seasoned guys and were going to be one of the best teams in Texas, Bach said.

Argyle kicks off its upcoming season on Aug.

29 at home against Frisco Lone Star.
