Pitcher ejected for hitting Shohei Ohtani in more Padres-Dodgers drama | Sporting News

On Thursday night, the San Diego Padres were trying to avoid a four-game sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The drama from the first three games was at a huge high, and it's nothing new for the National League West foes.
Going into the ninth, the Padres held a comfortable 5-0 lead before drama unfolded again.
Fernando Tatis Jr.
was hit by a pitch from reliever Jack Little .
That caused Mike Shildt and Dave Roberts to get into it with each other, both benches to clear, and both managers to be ejected in a wild scene.
Shortly after, Padres reliever Robert Suarez hit Shohei Ohtani with a pitch with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, which led to more madness as Suarez was tossed.
And now Shohei is HBP AGAIN.
Calls off everyone from Dodgers dugout.
Suarez ejected.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few days and whether or not the league hands out any form of discipline for everything that has gone down over the past few days.
