Jackson Naeve took the long, difficult path to becoming a Div.
I college football player.
Naeve, who shined at Iowa City Regina High School, spent the past year battling in junior college with power Iowa Western.
But he all paid off for the 6-foot-1 standout, as he has committed to the University of Iowa.
Last year with the Reivers, Naeve played in seven games, helping them reach the NJCAA national championship.
He had his best game vs.
Ellsworth, catching five passes for 79 yards with a touchdown.

He also ran for 344 yards and eight scores while recording 30.5 tackles on defense with five interceptions.
Naeve could also help the Hawkeyes in the return game, as he posted nearly 30 yards per kickoff return with two touchdowns in high school while fielding nine punts with a 20-yard average and another score.
He also handled return duties at Iowa Western, fielding four kickoffs and four punts.
For his high school career, Naeve recorded 81 receptions for 1,558 yards and 20 touchdowns, adding 64 tackles, seven interceptions and four returns for scores..
