The 5-foot-10 pass catcher out of Norman North in Norman, Okla.
is ranked as the 25th wide receiver in the nation, and the 180th overall recruit for the Class of 2026, according to 247 Sports.James announced his commitment live on 247 Sports' YouTube channel, picking Washington from a shortlist of schools that also included Washington, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, Arizona State, Alabama and Notre Dame.
