Mike Krzyzewski was once the leader of the Blue Devils, helping the program earn five national titles.

Now, it's Jon Scheyer who holds the keys to Cameron Indoor Stadium.

After another successful season for Duke, Scheyer decided to bulk up the staff.

On Wednesday, Duke announced the hiring of Preston Greene as the director of sports performance.

"Welcome to our new Director of Sports Performance, Preston Greene," posted the official social media account of the Duke Blue Devils.

Scheyer's thoughts on the hiring were attached to the post.

The Duke head coach said the Blue Devils will benefit tremendously from the hiring of Greene and admires his track record.

"Preston is a transformational addition to our program," posted the official social media account of the Duke Blue Devils.

"His reputation speaks for itself elite experience, an incredible track record of success and a deep understanding of how to develop athletes both physically and mentally.

"Its an incredible honor to be part of a program that not only competes for national championships, but also holds itself to the highest standards in everything it does.

Before accepting the role with Duke, Greene served as the director of strength and conditioning at Clemson from 2023 to 2025.

Greene has also spent time in similar roles at Miami, Stanford, Arizona and Minnesota.
