OU women's basketball lands Finley Chastain, five-star guard in 2027 recruiting class

NORMAN Jennie Baranczyk is building OU women's basketball for the future.

The Sooners received a commitment from 2027 five-star guard Finley Chastain on Monday night.

Chastain, who will be a junior in high school next season, is ranked as the No.

2 point guard nationally in the 2027 class by 247Sports.The Dallas native also visited Iowa, Oklahoma State and North Carolina.Baranczyk has been on a hot streak of recruiting high-end talent in the high school ranks.

OU landed a commitment from No.
