As Maluach prepares for the next step in his basketball journey, a recent report revealed the Duke prospect may be considered for the No.

2 pick in the draft.

Hoops HQ reporter Krysten Peek explained that the San Antonio Spurs have been tied to Maluach, potentially pairing him with NBA star Victor Wembanyama.

"Another buzzy name tied to the Spurs is Maluach, a 7-foot-2 center out of Duke," Peek said.

He also averaged 0.2 steals and 1.3 blocks on the defensive end.

The 2025 NBA draft begins at 8 p.m.
