NCAAB News

Dusty May made the biggest transfer portal splash of any team in college basketball when Michigan landed UAB transfer Yaxel Lendeborg, the top overall player in the transfer portal rankings.

However, there was one big caveat: Lendeborg had entered the NBA draft, and it was unclear whether or not he'd stay in or withdraw and make his way to Ann Arbor. Many expected the former, and that the Wolverines would be left looking for a replacement around this time.

Split at '50-50,' Lendeborg himself didn't know what he was going to do while he was in Chicago for the NBA combine.

However, the maize and blue got the best news possible when he decided he would finish his college career in Ann Arbor after all, announcing his NBA draft withdrawal and official commitment to Michigan basketball this upcoming season.Naturally, there were some big reactions on X (formerly Twitter) to the news that Lendeborg will be a Wolverine after all.
