Paul George Doesn't Hold Back on Caitlin Clarks Trash Talk originally appeared on Athlon Sports.Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has become one of the biggest names in basketball over the past few years.

Shes known not just for her deep logo threes but also for her willingness to speak her mind, whether its talking to the refs or trash-talking other players.Through the first four games of this season, thats been evident, as shes averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 9.3 assists. In a recent game against the Atlanta Dream, Clark had a moment with guard Rhyne Howard, telling her, "I'm not scared of you," after the two got into it.NBA star Paul George discussed Clark's game on his podcast, "Podcast P with Paul George", and touched on her trash talk.

He was honest, saying he loves her and thinks "she's great for the game of basketball.""Not only is her game talking (expletive), but she's out there talking (expletive)," George said.

"Like, she's backing it up...

I love her too, man.

I think she's great for the game of basketball in general, bro."Caitlin Clark has been amazing for the game of basketball ...

and would be an amazing guest on the show word to Jackie @CaitlinClark22pic.twitter.com/Uebq79pO9s Podcast P with Paul George (@PodcastPShow) May 31, 2025George also spoke about how Clark was basically handed the face of the WNBA and "there's going to be girls that think she's got to earn it.""You gotta put it in perspective, right?" George said.

"These girls have been grinding to grow the game of basketball in the WNBA.

They've been grinding to grow the sport to the world of viewerships.

They've been grinding for all of this.

And then you have this girl that comes along from college and is an instant change.

She's handed pretty much being the face of the league.

There's going to be girls that are offended by that.

And there's going to be girls that think she's got to earn it.

And she doesn't deserve this early."Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

I think she's performed last year," George stated.

"She's performing again this year.

I think she's the rightful face of the WNBA.

Up there with Aja Wilson, with Napheesa, with still some of the legends, Breanna Stewart, Kelsey Plum, the new up-and-coming rising star, bunky Paige Beckers."The attention surrounding Clark didnt come out of nowhere.
