Raiders' Jakobi Meyers announces his hopes for 2026 NFL team with free agency looming | Sporting News

Jakobi Meyers is entering the last year of his contract with the Las Vegas Raiders.
On Thursday, he made his hopes for the future crystal clear.
I want to be here for sure, but thats all I can really say on it right now, Meyers told reporters .
Thats business between us and the top floor, so Ima just hold that one down for now.
Meyers had the first 1,000-yard season of his career in 2024.
That's even with the likes of Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell playing quarterback.
The Raiders made a big QB upgrade this offseason, trading for Geno Smith from the Seahawks.
Meyers is currently playing out the final year of a three-year, $33 million contract he signed in 2023.

The Raiders' receiving corps is young around Meyers and Tre Tucker.
They also have two young, talented tight ends in Brock Bowers and Michael Mayer.
They might not be able to keep everyone around, but the fact that Meyers wants to stay in town is a great sign for the Vegas chances of getting him to sign a new deal.
