New Orleans Pelicans reportedly open to trading any player on current roster, including Zion Williamson | Sporting News

The Pelicans had a rough start to their offseason, finishing with the fourth-worst record in the NBA and dropping to number seven overall in the 2025 NBA Draft.

Although New Orleans finished as the 14th seed out in the West in 24-25, there was still hope that they could turn the corner since they faced a lot of injuries.

After a poor record though, the Pelicans hired a new GM who has plans to make some big moves this summer.

As mentioned, injuries played a large part in New Orleans' down year just one year after having their best record since the 08-09 NBA season.

Unfortunately, Dejounte Murray is coming off an achilles injury with a long recovery timeline, but could be someone that is traded for around the trade deadline next year.
