Latest news on Patriots DC Terrell Williams' recent health scare

New England Patriots defensive coordinator Terrell Williams is still away from the team after suffering a recent health scare.
When asked for updates on Williams, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel reiterated that the defensive coach is staying in constant communication with the coaching staff and players remotely.
No, just that he continues to, like our players, work hard to get back, Vrabel said, via MassLive's Mark Daniels.
Im excited to have him back.
Again, the communication that I see every day with him and the players in their meetings, and I know that hes excited.
Hopefully, well get him back here sooner rather than later.Williams said he was back home and unable to travel due to his doctor's orders when he last spoke with the media earlier in the month.
He has continued to talk with Vrabel on a regular basis and have defensive meetings with the team through Zoom.
So this isn't a situation where he's completely absent during the offseason work. The primary focus right now is Williams' health and well-being.
Football is a job that obviously there is some stress involved.
Just eating right.
Working out," Williams said on the health scare, via ESPN's Mike Reiss.
"If youre supposed to take any medication, take it.
Like I told the players, we all think were invincible.
I think a lot of times, when there are things you can prevent, and you dont prevent them, thats just not being smart.
Thats what Ive done the last couple of years, even longer."Ive ignored doctors.
Ive ignored everyone and just kind of lived my life.
While it was fun, I realize you have to take care of yourself.
Thats what Im doing.
Where I am now, my mind is clear.
Im moving around.
Im happy.
Everything is good.
Im just looking forward to getting back to Foxborough and seeing everybody in person.Follow Patriots Wire on Twitter and Facebook. This article originally appeared on Patriots Wire: Latest news on Patriots DC Terrell Williams' recent health scare.
