The Sixers have selected some big-time players in the past who have become an important part of the fabric of the franchise's history.This series continues by moving on to the 2006 draft.

13 pick, but they flipped him to the Chicago Bulls to acquire Rodney Carney who was picked at No.

16.

After a solid career at Memphis, Carney spent three seasons with the Sixers across two stints.

He spent his first two years in Philadelphia before being sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2008 offseason.

He then returned to the Sixers for the 2009-10 season and averaged 5.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in those three years.Overall, Carney spent only five seasons in the league playing for the Sixers, Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, and Memphis Grizzlies.

He would finish with career averages of 5.9 points and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 33.8% from deep.
