Report: Carlie Irsay-Gordon 'expected' to take over Colts from Jim Irsay

Carlie Irsay-Gordan is expected to take control of the Indianapolis Colts' football operations following the passing of Jim Irsay on Wednesday, according to Joel Erickson of the Indy Star.Irsay-Gordon will share ownership with her two sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson.

But, as Erickson wrote, Irsay-Gordon will primarily take charge of the football side of the operations.Irsay-Gordon was named the team vice president in 2008 and has been heavily involved in the Colts' football operations.

Erickson noted that Irsay-Gordon has worked closely with general managers Ryan Grigson and Chris Ballard, along with members of the coaching staff.
