Eagles' Jordan Mailata Addresses Offensive Line Additions

The Philadelphia Eagles are never satisfied when it comes to their offensive line.

Perhaps that is what makes them one of the best franchises in football.

With an ability to locate late-round talent in the league, Philadelphia has been able to locate top talent at this most important position group, and train them to be a part of an elite room.The 2025 offseason has been no exception.

While the team said goodbye to a quality starter in Mekhi Becton, the Eagles replaced him with athletic candidates like Kenyon Green.

Add in late-round talents like sixth-round tackle Cameron Williams and Myles Hinton, and Philadelphia has bolstered the group's depth in its trademark style.And the leaders of the group, like tackle Jordan Mailata, have already made it clear to them how much the current group competes with each other.

I told (them), I said, I dont care if you come for my job, if youre better than me, youre going to be better than me, but Im going to make it damn hard for you to reset, (and) Im going to bring you along," Mailata said on Tuesday.

"Im not going to keep you down.

Its not how it runs here, its not how we do it.

Im going to bring you along, because youre going to make me better."Philadelphia has long been one of the places in the league where their veterans are willing to teach the younger players with an ironic understanding that if the system works, the younger with eventually replace the older.It' happens in the NFL, but it happens in an especially effective way with this current group.Mailata may not be near the end of his career, but it's clear he has taken on that kind of leadership mentality.

And it's only making the Eagles better.
