On Tuesday, it was announced that the 2025 Aer Lingus College Football Classic will kick off at 11 a.m.
CST and be televised by ESPN.
The matchup will not only serve as the kickoff to Kansas State's and Iowa State's season, but could serve as the kickoff to the college football season .
The Farmageddon rivalry dates to 1917 when Iowa State defeated Kansas State 10-7.
Iowa State currently leads the series with a record of 54-50-4.
In the Chris Klieman era, Kansas State holds a record of 2-4 against Iowa State.
The Wildcats' last victory against Iowa State came in 2022 when they won 10-9 in Ames, Iowa.
Kansas State fans are no strangers to an 11 a.m.

Since Klieman took the reins in 2019, the Wildcats have played in the early window 23 times, posting a record of 16-7.
Last season, the Wildcats only played at 11 twice, defeating Tulane and Oklahoma State by a combined score of 76-47.
This is the first time under Klieman that the Wildcats and the Cyclones will play at 11 a.m.
