Gunnar Helm signs four-year deal with Tennessee Titans

On Saturday, Gunnar Helm crossed off another career milestone.
The former Longhorn star signed his rookie contract with the Tennessee Titans.
It is reportedly a four-year deal that will keep the Colorado native in Nashville through the 2029 season.
Over the last few weeks, the Titans have been busy signing their draft picks.
They have also agreed to deals with wide receiver Elic Ayomanor, defensive back Kevin Winston Jr., offensive guard Jackson Slater, cornerback Marcus Harris, and running back Kalel Mullings.
For Helm, the focus will be on getting comfortable in a new system.The Titans drafted Helm in the third round following the best season of his college career.
During the 2024 campaign, the 22-year-old set career highs in catches with 60, receiving yards with 786, and touchdowns with seven.

"I also think I'm a walking example of sometimes you don't reach your peak coming right out of high school," Helm said.
"Sometimes it takes a little bit of a developmental phase, and that's just what it was for me.
But I think it's a common misconception, a lot of people don't know that I played every single game that I suited out at the University of Texas, blocking really elite guys from very young age."Although Helm is joining a tight-end room full of experience, he should be able to set himself apart.
During his college career, he improved every season and was constantly working on his craft.
Those are just a few of the characteristics that drew the interest of the Titans, who see Helm as an important part of the future.With the NFL season right around the corner, fans won't have to wait long to see Helm's pro debut.
