Jalen Williams heroics in Game 7 against the Denver Nuggets seem to be a good look for OKCs title aspirations heading into the Western Conference Finals.

Scoring buckets, stealing the ball, and rallying the crowd into the game, J-Dub has returned to his form when it mattered most.

Of course, weve seen a lot of criticism from fans and basketball experts alike.

But when Williams believed in what he could bring for the Thunder, a spectacular performance came into play.

Jalen Williams Heroics in Game 7 is a Good Sign for OKC Everything worked well for OKC in the biggest stage of this series.

But most of all, the first-time All-Star had his big comeback game too.

The Oklahoma City Thunder succeeded in flipping the script in its Game 7 victory over the Denver Nuggets.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a spectacular performance of his own.

Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace had their big moments on both ends of the floor.

SGA met the moment with his masterful performance , while the Cookies and Cream duo had the highest +/- rating at a combined +78 .

Williams, however, was part of the majestic turnaround that helped OKC blow this game open.

After that disastrous performance in Game 6, OKCs second scoring option came alive well in the second quarter.

J-Dub scored 17 points on 8-for-11 shooting and was a +22 in the quarter alone.

He was quick in transition and had the hot hand that helped OKC break away for good.

This sequence even showed how impactful Williams was on both ends.

This is the Thunder team weve seen all season.

Williams tallied 24 points, seven assists, and five rebounds with a +35.

That was the third-best behind Caruso and Wallace on the squad.

This also serves as a gentle reminder that J-Dub is still just 24 years old .

He still has a long way to go in his career.

Theres more to expect from the young stars career, and yet hes already four wins away from making a trip to the NBA Finals as well.

A lot has changed, but it is safe to say that there are higher expectations this time around.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are not an easy opponent.

They came off eliminating the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, both in five games .

This means that they arent as fatigued as OKC is, especially with a short interval from the Game 7 win to Game 1 of the WCF.

The heroics displayed by Williams in Game 7 is a promising note for OKC heading into the series.

The Thunder split the season series 2-2 versus the Wolves in the 2024-25 campaign.

The last time the Thunder faced them, Williams dropped 27 points, six rebounds, and six assists in a loss where OKC collapsed on a huge lead and lost in OT.

Those 27 points are the most hes scored against Minnesota.

This series will definitely be a chance for Williams to step up and shake off the struggles he had against Denver.

Who knows, maybe he can bring the same groove he had against the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round.

After all, theres always a first time for everything, and Williams is heading to his first WCF.

Hes answered the call in Game 7, and you can bet that he will try to answer it once again against Minnesota.
