NFL.com projected win total for Arizona Cardinals is disappointing

The Arizona Cardinals believe they will be better than they were last season.
They won eight games but lost five of their final seven games.
But some projections don't agree with that.
Cynthia Frelund ran one million simulations of the 2025 regular season and the Cardinals were projected to make no improvement.
Based on simulations, the Cardinals' projected win total was 8.0.
The Cardinals (who open the year at New Orleans and at home against Carolina) have the best odds of starting 2-0 in the NFL in my model, edging out the Bengals by about two percentage points.
Weeks 16 (vs.
Atlanta) and 17 (at Cincinnati) could prove to be an important stint in terms of Arizona's win total. To start 2-0 and finish 8-9 would be wildly disappointing, although they do have a brutal end-of-season schedule, facing the Bucs, Bengals, Falcons, Texans and Rams twice in their final six games.
The Cardinals will just have to outperform these computer simulations once the season rolls around.
