Missouri basketball’s Tamar Bates shines in second NBA Draft Combine scrimmage

Thursday marked another strong pre-draft showing for Tamar Bates.The Missouri basketball standout and Kansas City, Kansas, native participated in his second scrimmage of the week Thursday at the NBA Draft Combine, and he scored 19 points on a near-perfect mark from the field as his team for the week, Team Williams, picked up a win at the draft showcase Thursday in Chicago.Bates went 7-of-8 shooting from the field in Game 2, including a 4-of-5 mark from 3-point range.
