Compensation update for the Steelers trade of George PIckens to the Cowboys

News broke early Wednesday morning that the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys were finalizing a trade that would send Steelers wide receiver George Pickens to the Cowboys.
Now, according to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter, we have an understanding of the compensation in that trade.According to Schefter, the Steelers will receive a third-round pick in exchange for Pickens from Dallas and a later pick swap.
The Steelers picked Pickens in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft, but with him entering the final year of his rookie contract and presumably wanting a huge new deal, we are sure it was worth taking a bit of a loss in the compensation to avoid the contract.
This is especially true given the Steelers just game fellow wide receiver DK Metcalf the largest outside free-agent contract in franchise history after trading for him this offseason. Not only did the Steelers trade for Metcalf this offseason but they also recently signed veteran Robert Woods.
It feels like the Woods signing was the final move to allow the Steelers to make this trade happen.Sources: The trade between Pittsburgh and Dallas is expected to include a third-round pick and other pick swaps.
