The Cleveland Browns are giving Diontae Johnson a chance to revitalize his career.

After a strong tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Johnson played for the Panthers, Texans and Ravens all in 2024.

He wasn't up to his usual standard, and so the Browns got him for the veteran's minimum of $1.17 million, per ESPN's Field Yates .

Even more interesting: The Browns won't pay Johnson any guaranteed money, per Yates.

That's a solid bet by the Browns.

If Johnson is washed up, the Browns won't owe him anything.

Johnson had 391 catches in five seasons with Pittsburgh.

Last year, he had 33 in total.

Johnson is likely hoping for a chance at Pittsburgh revenge in two divisional AFC North showdowns.

Cleveland is just hoping the soon-to-be 29-year old still has a bit of juice left in his game.
