Arizona Cardinals offseason program moves to Phase 2

The Arizona Cardinals began the next step in the offseason.

On Monday, they transitioned from Phase 1 to Phase 2 of the offseason program.

After two weeks of only strength and conditioning and "dead-ball" activity with only the strength and conditioning staff, the Cardinals began the first day of three weeks of the next phase.

Players can now do individual position drills.

No offense vs.

defense is allowed, so receivers run against air.

Offensive and defensive linemen lineup against trash cans.

The Cardinals will be in this phase for three weeks.

Phase 3 will begin with voluntary OTAs on May 28.
