One of the most anticipated Pittsburgh Steelers games of the 2025 season is, without a doubt, the Steel City's trip to Ireland.

Many analysts and fans including myself believed the Packers made the most sense for the September 28th matchup, but Andrew Fillipponi recently shot down the previously expected pairing.According to Fillipponi, radio host of 93.7 The Fan, his sources confirmed that the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Minnesota Vikings in Ireland. The Steelers have previously played in just one international game all the way back in 2012 against the Vikings at Londons Wembley Stadium, where Minnesota walked away victorious, 34-27.The Vikings have an impressive 4-0 record outside the United States becoming the NFLs go-to U.K.

franchise.

With that in mind, the Steelers who have deep roots in the beautiful country of Ireland through the Rooney family seem like the perfect opponent for Minnesota and will look to end the Vikings' undefeated international streak.Source: The Steelers will host the Vikings in Ireland on September 28th.
