The Miami Heat, reeling from a lackluster 37-45 season and a first-round playoff sweep by the Cleveland Cavaliers, are reportedly poised to make a bold move for Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant.

On Friday morning, Evan Sidery reported on X, citing Miami Heralds Barry Jackson, that the Heat are likely to pursue the 36-year-old forward this offseason.

However, Miami is unwilling to part with a significant package of future draft picks, reflecting a cautious approach to acquiring Durant, who has one year left on his $54.7 million contract and will turn 37 in September.The Heats proposed trade package includes Andrew Wiggins, three-point specialist Duncan Robinson, and a young prospect like Jaime Jaquez Jr.
