Kirk Herbstreit Issues Plea After Ex-Ohio State Player's Cause of Death Revealed

Kirk Herbstreit is imploring fans to avoid "low hanging fruit" and making a former Ohio State player's death "about Covid-the-vaccine-or your politics."The ESPN personality's plea comes after the Clark County Coroner's Office in Nevada shared Ben Christman's cause of death was cardiomyopathy, a form of heart disease.

After the news came out of Las Vegas, Herbstreit, a former Ohio State football star, took to X to share his condolences.That tweet got a reply from a verified X account asking, "Was he vaccinated for Covid?"Related: 4 heart disease warning signs"I have no idea about Ben and his health history and respectfully this isnt about politics.

Heart disease-cardiac arrhythmia-irregular heartbeat have been an issues with young people for generations!" the ESPN college football analyst responded.

"My grandfather-aunt-brother-myself all diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.

All these can be diagnosed with the proper testing-its expensive to do it universally but feel its last time to help prevent these unfortunate type of situations.

Please dont take the low hanging fruit and make it about Covid-the vaccine-or your politics.
