Draymond Green picked up another technical foul in the Warriors Game 2 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Steve Kerr has warned him of what could happen if he doesnt stop.

The Golden State Warriors lost Game 2 against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday by a 117-93 scoreline.

The team struggled offensively in Stephen Curry s absence.

Curry got injured in Game 1 , with a Grade 1 hamstring strain ruling him out for almost a week.

Anthony Edwards was battling illness himself, but helped Minnesota claim the victory.

In Stephs absence, no Warriors star was able to reach the 20-point threshold.

Jonathan Kuminga led the team with 18 points, Jimmy Butler had 17.

Draymond Green managed just nine points on the night, but he did manage to pick up another technical foul.

This takes him into dangerous territory, and head coach Steve Kerr pointed out as much.

Steve Kerr tells Draymond Green he needs to stay composed and careful Draymond picked up a dead-ball technical foul after he made contact with Naz Reids face after a foul.

This is his 5th of the playoffs.

Two more would see Green pick up a 1-game suspension.

Kerr was asked at the press conference about what this means for Green and his team.

And he had words of caution for his defensive stalwart.

I could see he had gotten pretty upset, and I didnt want him getting another technical, so I took him out at that point, Kerr told reporters.

Hes going to have to be careful now.

Hes going to have to stay composed.

Obviously, we need him, and Im confident he will because he knows the circumstances.

Steve Kerr on Draymond picking up a tech: "He's gonna have to be careful now.

He's gonna have to stay composed and I'm confident that he will because he knows the circumstances.

The competition is so meaningful to him that occasionally, he goes over the line" pic.twitter.com/NSrbUpPhEW Thats part of Draymond.

Same thing that makes him such a great competitor and a winner puts him over the top sometimes.

We know that, and its our job to help him stay poised [and] stay composed, but the competition is so meaningful to him that sometimes he goes over the line.

The Warriors cant afford to lose Draymond Green for even a game Magic Johnson may think that other stars matter more than Draymond , but his skillset is too unique to replace.

Green is Golden States defensive anchor.

A lot of the offense flows through him too, even if it doesnt end up reflecting in the box score.

The Warriors will likely have to play a minimum of two games without Steph.

If Green picks up techs in those, and Curry is unable to return for a decisive Game 5, it might end the teams season.

Whatever the scenario, losing their emotional leader is not something that the Warriors can afford.

Golden State fans will be hoping it doesnt come to that.
