Purdue Reveals Braden Smith News Before Senior Season

Braden Smith has been the leader of the Purdue Boilermakers men's basketball program for the past several years.
Smith is fresh off his third college basketball season, having led Purdue to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
While Smith and the Boilermakers suffered a loss to Houston in the Sweet 16, Purdue was able to take down High Point and McNeese State during March Madness.
After the season, Smith was honored by Purdue as the Male Athlete of the Year, presented by the Golden Petes Connors Empower Program.

Smith established himself as one of the best playmakers in the country, ranking No.
2 in average assists.
In his final game last season, a 62-60 loss to Houston, Smith recorded seven points, three rebounds and 15 assists.

He was also a Naismith Player of the Year finalist, which ultimately went to Duke Blue Devils star Cooper Flagg.
