Eric Engels names three players that Canadiens management wants to see in the NHL this season

The excellent Sportsnet journalist Eric Engels, who covers the Montreal Canadiens, has just provided some very interesting information.
There's been a lot of talk about the competition among young defensemen, as many are trying to crack Martin St-Louis' regular lineup for the first game of the season.
Now, we've learned more about the Canadiens management's intentions.
David Reinbacher, Logan Mailloux, and Lane Hutson all in the NHL this season? According to Engels, management does indeed want to see all three in the NHL this season.
- Eric Engels This might not necessarily happen right at the start of the season, but don't expect Reinbacher to spend the entire season with the Laval Rocket.
(The same applies to Logan Mailloux if he's ever cut.) It could even happen through a trade: a trade scenario to make room for David Reinbacher has surfaced.
So, expect a lot of movement on defense for our Montreal Canadiens in the coming months.
David Reinbacher, 19 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 209-pound defenseman who was drafted 5th overall in 2023 (1st round).
Last season, he tallied 5 points in 11 games with the Laval Rocket and 11 points in 35 games for Kloten in Switzerland's top league.
