Peter DeBoer Reveals Shocking Injury News on Heiskanen and Robertson Ahead of Round 2

The Dallas Stars got through round one without some of their biggest stars, and now, it appears that they'll both be back for their next Stanley Cup Playoffs series.
Despite many picking the Colorado Avalanche in round one, the Dallas Stars rode a stellar third period from form Avs star Mikko Rantanen to come away winners in a massive Game 7 by a score of 4-2.
Now, they await the winner of Game 7 between the Winnipeg Jets and the St.
Louis Blues, and according to Peter DeBoer, major reinforcements could be on the way for another Central Division showdown.
After Game 7, DeBoer revealed that both Miro Heiskanen and Jason Robertson will play in their second-round series, and while he couldn't give them an official return date, the knowledge that they are playing alone will help to boost this team.
Even without two of the best offensive players in the NHL, the Stars managed to score 21 goals over the seven game series against one of the best teams in the league, and now, they will be getting both back as they look to finally live up to expectations and make a deep run.
Ahead of Game 7, Robertson was on the ice for the Stars which is a major positive, and with their second round opponents still playing, it will give them at the minimum another three days to get ready for that series.
Ultimately, this is a Stars team that's now brimming with confidence after their Game 7 win, and with the injection of even more talent, there's absolutely no excuses to be made for this team from this point forward as they chase their first Stanley Cup as a group.
