The Boston Bruins had a disastrous 2024-25 campaign and will look to bounce back next year.

The Original Six club is expected to be busy this off-season as they look to become a playoff team again and have the cap space to improve their roster. However, at the same time, the Bruins will also be hoping that some of their young players reach new levels next season.

Due to this, let's take a look at three of their top breakout candidates for next season now.Matt Poitras Poitras is a clear breakout candidate for the Bruins for next season.

The 21-year-old is one of the Bruins' top prospects and has simply thrived since being sent down to the AHL.

In 40 regular-season games with the Providence Bruins, he had 17 goals and 41 points.

Poitras had a bit of a quiet year while with Boston this season, posting one goal and 11 points in 33 games.

However, he has been trending in the right direction since being assigned to Providence, and it would not be surprising if he breaks out next season because of it.

Fraser MintenIt is hard not to feel excitement about Minten's future with the Bruins.

The 20-year-old forward is one of Boston's top prospects and showed promise when called up to their roster at the end of the season.

In six games, he scored a goal and threw 12 hits.Minten has the tools to blossom into an impactful NHL forward, and it would not be surprising if he took a notable step forward with the Original Six club next season.

He not only has good offensive upside but also is well-known for his smart defensive play.

Fabian LysellLysell finally got his first chance on Boston's roster this season, posting one goal, three points, and a minus-4 rating in 12 games.

The 2021 first-round pick also ended the season on a high note with Boston, recording his three points in the final four games of the season. At 22 years old, now is the time for Lysell to hit that next level and blossom into a legitimate NHL talent.

With the way he finished out the year, perhaps the young winger will have his breakout campaign in 2025-26.
