Final 2024-25 Philadelphia 76ers player grades: Eric Gordon

The 2024-25 season is in the books for the Philadelphia 76ers, which means it is the time to look back on the season that was for each player.
The Sixers finished 24-58 as they missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 season amid a slew of injuries. The Sixers used a grand total of 30 players throughout the season and an NBA record 53 starting lineups.
This series will focus on the 15 players on standard deals and the three on two-way deals to finish the season--not anybody who finished the season on a 10-day deal.Up next in this series is veteran guard Eric Gordon.
The Sixers brought the 17-year veteran in on a deal in the 2024 offseason, and while he gave Philadelphia some reliable shooting, he only played 39 games as his season was cut short due to surgery on his right wrist.

He shot only 23.1% from deep in October and 24.1% in November as he seemed to be slow to figuring out his role and his fit within this offensive system, but he really turned it on before his injury.
He shot a ridiculous 52.6% from deep in 17 games in the month of January as he began to find the rhythm that made him such an elite shooter in this league, but unfortunately, he had to undergo surgery on his right wrist and his season was cut short.Gordon's highlightsGordon had a good stretch at the end of December leading into January when he was able to make an impact.
He had nine points in a road win over the Charlotte Hornets and then did some good things over the next two games before oral surgery ended his month.
He then returned in January and went on a tear before the wrist surgery.Final gradeAgain, it's hard to judge the Sixers off anything from 2024-25 due to the injuries.
One will argue Gordon lost a step which could be the case, at least on the defensive end, but he is still an elite shooter and he showed that he is still capable of being out there and getting minutes.
He has a player option for the 2025-26 season and one has to wonder if Philadelphia is hoping he picks that up as it looks to provide spacing for the offense to flow.Final grade: BThis article originally appeared on Sixers Wire: Final 2024-25 Philadelphia 76ers player grades: Eric Gordon.
