Jerry Jones recently hinted that the Dallas Cowboys could make a blockbuster trade soon.

They could be eyeing a playmaking running back to add to their offense.

Jones recently revealed that the Cowboys are exploring the trade market to try and improve their team.

"Were looking at two things that could happen before or after the draft," Jones said, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Nick Harris.

"Two pretty substantive trades.

Been working on today." While Jones was not clear on who the Cowboys were targeting, it's safe to assume that the trade would be for more than just some draft picks, considering the timeline he revealed.

FOX Sports' David Helman tabbed Kenneth Walker of the Seattle Seahawks as a potential target.

"Kenneth Walker could be on his way out of Seattle depending on how the Seahawks use their 10 draft picks this weekend," wrote Helman.

"Walker has one year left on his rookie deal, and it's easy to imagine Seattle opting for a duo of Zach Charbonnet and a rookie in its backfield.

With such a short time left on that rookie deal, Walker could offer instant impact at a low trade price provided the Cowboys are willing to give him some sort of extension." Spotrac projects him to sign a four-year, $41 million deal in free agency.

Last season, the Cowboys had arguably the worst rushing attack in the league.

They had the sixth-fewest rushing yards and were one of the least explosive ground games.

They were tied for last place in runs of over 20 yards.

Walker ran for 1,000 yards as a rookie and would have followed his rookie year up with another 1,000-yard season had he not missed two games.

Last year, he had 573 yards and eight total touchdowns in 11 games.

The Cowboys signed Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams this offseason, but Walker may be the type of player who can carry their offense when needed.

He also had 46 catches last season and could be a valuable pass catcher out of the backfield for Dak Prescott.
