Boston Red Sox prospect Kristian Campbell is now number three in the Soxs farm system, according to SoxProspects .

Campbell was originally number 22 before the update.

Campbell has been dominating in the minor leagues this year, moving from high A at the beginning of the season to AAA now.

In AAA, he is hitting an impressive .300, with four home runs in 13 games.

He also has two doubles and 15 RBIs.

Campbell is expected to be up in the majors in early 2025, but he could honestly be called up at any time now.

He is a righty hitter, something the Sox are desperately in need of since their lineup is almost all lefties.

Campbell also plays second base, which is a position the Sox have struggled to fill since Dustin Pedroias career-ending injury and retirement.

He can also play shortstop, supporting Trevor Story to give him some rest so he doesnt reinjure himself quickly.

Overall, Campbells rise in the rankings is good for the Sox, as it shows their future is stacked with talent.
