PFF grades for all Indianapolis Colts 2025 NFL draft picks

What grades did the Indianapolis Colts' eight-man draft class receive from Pro Football Focus during their respective 2024 college seasons?Now, before we dive into that, I do want to add the caveat that PFF's grading system, while helpful for quantifying a player's performance, is far from the be-all-end-all when it comes to evaluation.

It is one tool out of many that are out there and should be treated as such.For some context around these metrics, here is a look at PFFs grading system to provide some context behind the numbers:90.0+: Elite80-89.9: High quality70-79.9: Good60-69.9: Above average50-59.9: Average40-49.9: Below average39.9 or less: PoorAlright, now let's dive in.PFF grades for Indianapolis Colts 2025 NFL draft class1.14: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn StatePFF grade: 90.5Warren was one of the top pass-catching tight ends in college football.

He caught 77% of his 135 targets for 1,230 yards with eight scores.

Warren also lined up across the formation, including in the backfield, and has been a capable run-blocker.2.13 JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio StatePFF grade: 86.2Tuimoloau brings a very well-rounded presence to the Colts as a three-down defender.

He graded among the best against the run last season and recorded 51 pressures and 15 sacks, per PFF.3.16 Justin Walley, CB, MinnesotaPFF grade: 71.1A boundary cornerback who was very stingy in coverage.

Quarterbacks completed just 42% of their passes against Walley, who also had two interceptions and five pass breakups.

Of note, however, he did give up 17.2 yards per catch on completions.4.25 Jalen Travis, OT, Iowa StatePFF grade: 70.8The 2024 season was Travis' first at Iowa State after spending three seasons at Princeton.

As the left tackle, he gave up only one sack and 11 pressures the entire year.

He ranked among the best at his position in pass-blocking grade.

Throughout his career, for what it's worth, Travis has consistently graded out much better in pass protection.5.14 DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas StatePFF grade: 75.7A very productive running back who has experience in a zone-read offense.

Giddens surpassed 1,200 rushing yards in each of the last two seasons, averaging 6.0 yards per rush during that span.

He also had 72 targets in the passing game the previous two years as well.6.13 Riley Leonard, QB, Notre DamePFF grade: 83.5Leonard would go on to complete a career-high 66.4% of his passes at 7.0 yards per attempt with 21 touchdowns to eight interceptions.

He would rush for 982 yards last season as well and 17 touchdowns.6.14 Tim Smith, DT, AlabamaPFF grade: 73.7A rotational interior defender whose greatest impact came against the run.

Smith has graded out very well in this facet of the game and ranked 50th out all defensive tackles in run-stop rate.

Smith's 11 pressures in 2024 were the most of his career.7.16 Hunter Wohler, LB, WisconsinPFF grade: 70.9A safety at Wisconsin, but the bulk of Wohler's snaps came in the box.
