He was named to the All-Pac West First team and to the NABC's First Team All West District team and also helped lead Point Loma Nazarene to the Division II Sweet 16 in two of the past three seasonsHaupt's passing and floor vision in particular drew the praise of his coach this past season."That kid of sets the table for the rest of his game," Point Loma coach Justin Downer told the San Diego Union-Tribune in November.

"Everyone is so worried about him as a passer (that) it helps him as a scorer.

He can pass with both hands.

He can finish with both hands, so you can't shade him to one side.

And then his size, he has the ability to pass over defenses.

We're letting him bring the ball up the court.

He's 6-6 and can pass with either hand to the corners, so that puts a lot of pressure on defenses."Haupt has already earned an undergraduate and a master's degree and has been in college for five seasons with the 2021 season not counting against his eligibility due to COVID and the 2024 season not counting as he missed it with a knee injury.
