Former St. John's Star RJ Luis Reacts to Big Transfer Portal News
The college basketball transfer portal continues to disperse talent across some of the top programs in the country.
While the transfer portal window has closed, meaning players can no longer enter the portal, most of the attention surrounds commitments from those available.
On Saturday, former blue-chip prospect Simeon Wilcher posted his commitment announcement on social media, revealing that he will be continuing his college basketball career with the Texas Longhorns.

John's as a four-star recruit, ranked as the No.
7 combo guard and the No.
34 overall player in the nation, per 247Sports.

He capped off his second season with the St.
John's Red Storm by averaging 18.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
Pitino will certainly be missing the two stars, but the Red Storm also have one of the best incoming transfer portal classes in the country.
After the season, they added former five-star recruits Ian Jackson and Dillon Mitchell, along with other stars.
