Hammonton splits its games at RV Invitational, plus other late scores from Friday

The Blue Devils (10-3) then turned around and won a thriller in their consolation game.

Hammonton scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning en route to an 8-7 victory over Northern Burlington.

The Blue Devils lost 4-2 to host Rancocas Valley in the first round.

Against Northern Burlington, the Blue Devils' Gracie Ravenkamp went 2 for 3, including a double, and drove in three runs.

Layla Cuneo-Snouffer homered and drove in two runs.

Vivianne Wilson singled, scored two runs and drove in one.

Hannah Hines hit two singles.

Ravenkamp struck out three and allowed four runs on four hits in 3 2/3 innings.

Alyssa Sebazco struck out two and allowed three runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings.
