Seahawks land a versatile high-upside player in a new 2025 NFL mock draft at a position of need to help their new look offense

The Seattle Seahawks took a major risk this offseason after falling just a game short of making the NFC playoffs.

They fully reshaped their offense by trading Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders and DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers, replacing them with Sam Darnold and Cooper Kupp.

In a new A to Z Sports mock draft, they continue their offensive makeover by adding a versatile high-upside player.

Kelvin Banks would immediately upgrade at least three of the starting offensive line positions for Seattle.

They weren't able to land a new starter in free agency, which makes it a clear spot to watch for their early selections in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Banks has the ability to play tackle like he did at Texas this past year, but some around the league think he may be better equipped to slide inside to guard long-term.

The Seahawks could use Banks at right tackle or could use him at either guard spot.

In my opinion, he would be a clear upgrade to all three spots.

He has some raw elements of his game and could have some up and down moments early into his NFL career, but he possesses one of the highest ceilings of any offensive lineman in this class.

So this pick would be just as much about the future of the Seahawks offensive line that is about 2025.
