Luka Doncic was clearly annoyed after a reporter asked him a pointed question about his play in Game 1.

Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a brutal loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves .

Despite playing at home, the Lakers couldnt avoid a 117-95 defeat.

NBA fans were shocked with the Lakers loss to the Timberwolves .

And rightfully so, given that the Lakers were heavy favorites heading into the game.

The Timberwolves shot a franchise-record 21 three-pointers against the Los Angeles Lakers.

But even without that, the Lakers looked unfocused and out of sorts.

Luka Doncic had a 37-point performance.

But one aspect of his play suffered greatly against the Timberwolves.

And one reporter seemed to call him out on it.

Im just trying to set the tone early.

But obviously, you want assists, and thats not good enough from me.

Doncic isnt someone who usually gets upset about being criticized in the media.

However, the reporters seeming allocation of blame to his lack of passing seemed to get under his skin.

But his scoring exploits wont mean much if they come with losses.

This is why he will be ready to get the Lakers a win against a depleted Timberwolves squad.

But Doncic might want to try and make it happen nonetheless.
