The Denver Broncos found a fitting former player to announce one of their picks in the 2025 NFL draft next week.

This year's draft will be held in Wisconsin, and retired running back Montee Ball is set to select one of Denver's picks on Day 2 (Friday, April 25).

Ball, of course, broke NCCA records during his decorated college career with the Wisconsin Badgers.

Ball, a new member of the College Football Hall of Fame, set a record for the most non-quarterback touchdowns in NCCA history with 83 from 2009-2012.

After college, he was picked by the Broncos in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft.

While his pro career was short-lived, Ball has an amazing story of overcoming alcoholism, and he now serves as a public speaker and an AODA recovery advocate.Ball won't be the only special guest announcing a pick for Denver this year.

Samuel Barrett, 17, will announce the team's first-round selection in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation on Thursday, April 24.

The dedicated Broncos fan has been battling a brain tumor since 2018.Denver holds seven picks in the 2025 NFL draft (April 24-26).
