Georgia tight end visits Falcons ahead of NFL draft

Former Georgia Bulldogs tight end Benjamin Yurosek has visited with a trio of teams ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.The 6-foot-4, 245-pound tight end visited with the Detroit Lions, Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings in a series of predraft visits according to the NFL Networks Tom Pelissero.Yurosek played with the Stanford Cardinal from 2020-2023 before he transferred to UGA.

He posted career-best numbers with Stanford in 2021 (42 receptions, 653 receiving yards and three touchdowns).Yurosek, who is projected to be a late round draft pick, transferred to Georgia for the 2024 season.

At Georgia, he posted 15 receptions for 185 yards and no touchdowns.He wasnt as productive as many Georgia fans hoped hed be, but he was adjusting to a new system and started to make a bigger impact down the stretch.

Yurosek notably caught five passes for 51 yards in Georgias win over Tennessee.

Fourteen of his 15 catches in 2024 came over Georgias final seven games.The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from Thursday, April 24 to Saturday, April 26.This article originally appeared on UGA Wire: UGA football TE goes on predraft visit Falcons.
