Pinging The Portal: Cincinnati Targeting High-Upside Forwards Moustapha Thiam, Keitenn Bristow

CINCINNATI The big man interest is starting to really ramp up from Cincinnati in our latest Pinging The Portal.
Multiple reports have Cincinnati and UCF center Moustapha Thiam showing major interest in one another.
The 7-2, 235-pound freshman center averaged 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game this past season.
He led the Big 12 in blocks with a 49.8% field goal percentage (29.1% from deep on 2.3 attempts per game).
The dynamic young rim protector has three years of eligibility left and would be the best five-man to play for Wes Miller at Cincinnati.
Thiam posted 13 points, five rebounds, and two blocks against UC on 6-9 shooting in the Bearcats final game last season.
Thiam is young for his class after joining the 2024 crew following status as the top center in the 2025 class.
He would help Cincinnati's spacing and lineup diversity.
Cincinnati is also interested in Tarleton State forward Keitenn Bristow.
Greenlight Media reported the contact.
The 6-8, 190-pound freshman holds three years of eligibility after winning WAC Freshman of the Year.
He finished third on the team averaging 11.3 points per game, with 4.4 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game.
Bristow ranked in the top 40 in the nation among freshmen in points per game.
He shot 46.1% from the floor as a freshman (32.8% from deep).
