Kirill Kaprizov's play has been sensational to start his career and there is no doubt that the Minnesota Wild absolutely love having him on their team.

Having said that, Minnesota has not had the easiest time when it comes to retaining players on its roster.

After all, Minnesota might be a great hockey State, but it isn't super attractive to foreign players or guys who may not know the beauty that lies within the midwest.

With that in mind, some around the team are worried that Kaprizov will bounce as soon as he gets the chance.

Well, a new report from Mark Lazerus seems to confirm this notion.

According to his sources, there are rumblings that Kaprizov wants to go to the Chicago Blackhawks when he becomes a free agent in 2026.

In fact, there is no other team he is interested in.

All signs point to him wanting the Blackhawks or bust.

It seems like his goal is to team up with Connor Bedard, a la Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

In four NHL seasons, Kaprizov already has 160 goals and 170 assists for 330 total points.

His best season came in 2021-22 when he was able to score 47 goals and even notched 108 total points.

He has the potential to score 50 goals, and some believe he could some day be the best player in the league.

Having said that, he would pair very nicely with someone like Connor Bedard .
